I am a NEW BREED... I am of Joel's ARMY

First, I truly believe that the only way to truly preach the gospel of Jesus Christ is to live it. I mean, really live it... Through loving your brothers, loving your neighbor, blessing your enemy, hating sin, living upright before God, No other gods before the one TRUE GOD. I live it when I speak life to my children every day. I live it when I go to church faithfully. I live it when I wake up in the morning and turn my face upward, and the same when I lay my head on my pillow at night and all through the day. And I get so tired of hearing about how badly "we" need to preach the gospel to people. I know it is true that the gospel needs to be preached. I am NOT ASHAMED of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation. But what i hear from the pulpit sounds more like I need to be standing on the street corner on a soap box screaming to the crowds that they are going to Hell. And even if that is true that they are going to Hell, doesnt' mean I want to be a weirdo and does that truly get people right with God? Or does that turn people away? I think it turns people away. Preachers say the gospel does not offend people. I disagree. Not everyone is open to the gospel the same way. It talks about this I believe in Jude that everyone gets saved a different way... some you have grab out of the pit of Hell. I rely on God to lead me in each and every situation. I do not think I need to do it all in one shabang, but sometimes I am just the seed planter, sometimes I am the waterer, sometimes I am the reaper... it all depends on the situation.

So, if you do not know Jesus as your Lord, it's really quite simple... A simple short prayer will do...

Jesus- I have sinned, please forgive me and cleanse me of my sin. I want to be new. I want to be like You. I make you Lord of my life now, I will go where ever You tell me to go and do whatever You tell me to do. I will never turn back. In Jesus Name Amen.

 

See, how simple is that?

I just feel impressed that time is short on this earth and Jesus is returning soon. Will I be found doing His will? It is so easy to do what I want to do. So easy to get caught up in the day to day things in life and forget His great love, grace, and His mission for our lives. It seems it is always something that steals moments from my day. Babies crying, kids puking, temper tantrums, meals to make, drinks to give, the needyness can be all consuming... but God... He is a consuming fire... Consume me.... Consume me Father with your fire.... burn away my comprimise... burn away all my desire.. let it be consumed with Your desire.

Hebrews 13:20-21

And now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, all that is pleasing to Him. Jesus is the great shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting covenant, signed with His blood. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.  

 

I hear the sound..... I hear the sound....

Of Jesus calling to His Church....

He is saying, It is time to assemble and get ready....

Don't be fooled by the darkness

for the light is coming and now is the time to rise...

yes, now is the time for My Bride to rise

Heal herself and fulfill her mission....

Go, Church, go to all I send you...

build the bridges... build the waste lands once again....

bring freedom to the captive

bring deliverance to the oppressed

bring healing to the wounded and the hurting and the sick

bring salvation and forgiveness to those who are still in sin

and are alone in this world....

now is the time to prepare for war....

Rise, church, rise....

for the light is coming now even as I speak

are you ready church? Do you hear My call?

I am calling.... Open your eyes... it is time for slumber to cease...

Rise, church, rise up!!! "

And in response, the church says, " Oh Lord and Lover,

We hear You.... We are rising... We are preparing for war...

healing our leprosy.... restoring our ears to hear and our heart to understand and our eyes to see....

We shall see the light as it comes...

and we will go where ever you send us..."

 

Jesus, I hear your call... I yeild myself.... I will be a new breed... I will be a different kind of christian.. one who walks in power and your might.

When he returns

When Jesus returns....

May I be found manning my post

Fulfilling my mission, my call

Doing all that He has asked me to do

Loving the unloved

helping those in need

Being His hands and Feet

Speaking His word with power

Holding fast to the message that He saves

Preaching the gospel of Christ

Casting out demons

Healing the sick

Seeing blind eyes opened and the lame man leaping

Setting the captives free

For in Jesus is all freedom, power and healing

Now Father I ask

Empty me of me

my selfish ambitions, my arrogance and pride

empty me of foolishness

and help me see who You are, face to face

change me from glory to glory

and let me be a true pure reflection of You

Let Your glory fill my life

Let all that I am be all that You desire

Amen
